Among the record 1,600 vehicles that will cross the block at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson collectable car auction - running January 10 - 18 in Scottsdale, Arizona - is the one-of-a-kind 1965 Plymouth Barracuda created for American International Pictures 1966 racing flick, Fireball 500.
According the the docket listing, the custom car was built by the legendary George Barris alongside the Batmobile and includes a hitch that was used to pull Richard Petty's #43 race car across the country. Also included are signed photo's of George Barris and the stars of Fireball 500; Annette Funicello, Fabian and Frankie Avalon.
The car recently made Yahoo! Auto's list of the "10 Wildest", and _Weirdest" cars offered at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction.
