With a long history of trips to Las Vegas dating back to the early years of Annette's career, the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino was a favorite of the Funicello family long before Annette and Frankie brought their concert tour to the iconic establishment for a limited engagement beginning on January 10, 1991.
Playing Vegas was an accomplishment Annette's parents were particularly thrilled to see added to her long list of career successes. Despite Annette's decades of celebrity, her mother couldn't help but be blown away by the sight of her daughters name on the large billboards leading into one of her favorite cities. Family and friends traveled to "the city of lights" to see the show, including life-long friend and former Mouseketeer, Sharon Baird, who flew in from her home in Reno.
Annette and Frankie performed at The Cabaret, a beautiful showroom located on the third floor of the "Golden Nugget", with a seating capacity at 560. Each show drew an enthusiastic audience - which included Annie's parents...who never missed a show.
